CAMS
Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS)
The CAMS qualification is tailored for persons seeking to build a career as entry-level accounting and management professionals. The course imparts practical knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to:
- Prepare basic accounts and financial statements.
- Support business operations in small enterprises and non-complex environments.
- Develop confidence in entrepreneurship, ICT, taxation, and communication.
To enroll in CAMS, a candidate must have:
- A KCSE mean grade of D (Plain), or
- A recognized certificate approved by Kasneb.
The course is delivered through tuition, with students required to undertake Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs).
The course is fully tuition-based with requirements for students to sit for Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs) which constitute 15% of the final score for assessment purposes. The examination is administered on a computer-based platform.

CM13: Fundamental ICT Skills
CM14: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics
LEVEL TWO
CM21: Foundations of Accounting
CM22: Elements of Taxation
CM23: Principles of Marketing and Communication.
